FAO report predicts lasting negative effects for seafood from COVID-19.

The report released in june , had a special focus in the consecuences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the food industry, which has forced the cancellation of industry trade events, disrupted supply chains, , and lead to widespread restaurant closures.

The report predicts that seafood will see lasting impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The seafood industry overall will continue to be affected negatively by the pandemic even beyond direct closures caused by it.
